Machine Gun Kelly inks with Bad Boy

Recently I had the pleasure of checking out a Machine Gun Kelly concert @ the Grammercy Theatre in New York City (for review check out: http://parlemagazine.com/lifestyle-events/1076-machine-gun-kelly.html); Now I will admit that prior to attending the show I was unaware of how talented he really is, or how serious he is about his craft. In addition, I must admit that you can not get a real gauge on what his buzz is like until you are around. When he is described as having a cult like following, its truly an understatement.

At the show it was hinted that he was being courted by Bad Boy as well as a host of others, but Diddy was foreseeably the front runner. today the announcement was made that its official Machine Gun Kelly has signed to the historic Bad Boy Records, with his next project, debut, titled Lace Up to be distributed by Interscope. Diddy has done it again, thats all I can say. My prediction, this is not another Day 26 or Red Cafe(no disrespect to the homey) caliber of signing. You will get the album. If you doubt, just look at his credentials which include performances in front of crowds similar to seen here, as well as at festivals such as SXSW and Bamboozle. If not already, he's a star- IMMEDIATELY.

Check out the footage as MGK makes the big announcement:
