Bringing a fresh new clothing line that is not just a line but a movement and brand where the medium is the message, portraying urban empowerment through clothes, attitude, and lifestyle. “The Uptown Kings was inspired by kings that are gone, kings that are here, and kings behind bars”.
Sounding like they have been around for some time with a deep inspiration behind their focus. These kings have only been in the industry for a year now. Their motive behind what they do is rich with influences from stories, proverbs and teachings from the their west Indian up bringing. “Uptown Kings represent courage, sacrifice, and never forgetting where we came from, because transgressions, like weapons, can be melted down to create crowns”.

We also have a few community projects planned like “King’s Court” a fundraising basketball tournament. We’re working with some great partners and sponsors towards a fun and exciting means to empower young kings”.
The kings have worked with people like Jewlz Bailey and Alpha Beta Pie and collaborated for a few events, most recently at Empire Lounge with Neddy Nyce and Mista Presto, also with Remy’s (Yorkville) with DJ Big Jacks.
