LADY 6'S SLAPPIN SPREE CONTINUES

NAME: Lady6 aka LilMissFly6

GENRE: Hip Hop

"The Slappin Spree is Lady6 also known by LilMissFly6’s third CD, the follow up to Ima Slapper. She is a young fresh Hip Hop/Rap artist coming out the NorthWest in Seattle that leaves her listeners craving for more."

Since her first gig a few years ago, this Seattle native has been making inroads in the music industry. A fan favourite on the many social media websites, Lady 6 has a total of nearly 50, 000 fans and an artist rating at number 4 on Reverbnation.com – no mean feat for an up-and-coming artist. Her track “Everyone Was On It” is a particular favourite amongst listeners, with the rapper’s frank, tell-it-like-it-is lyrics resonating with fans.

She goes under the aliases Lady 6, Lil Miss Fly 6 and Royal Flyness but her sound is unmistakable – daring, honest and unique. The petite rapper is a favourite at reggae, rap and ska events, evident in the numerous guest spots she has landed thus far. Her lyrics are raw and candid as she speaks her mind over slick, urban beats. And whether she is collaborating with another artist or flying solo, Lady 6 tells her story with passion and conviction.

Her album Daily Slapptivities is a 14-track collection produced in collaboration with Crown P. Productions and was released in October 2012. Featuring standout tracks like Get Rich List, Crazy Reckless Asian and Hustle Hard, the album’s sound is undeniably Lady 6. Not to be confused with the New Zealand outfit Ladi6, this American ingénue is well on her way to rap stardom. And it seems that the sky is the limit for this emerging artist. As she declares on her track For Everyone I Love: “I’m just living out my dream…”.
